ABC has renewed Mistresses for a second season. The TV series will return next summer.
Based on a British series of the same name, Mistresses revolves around a group of four women who are in complex and sometimes illicit relationships. The cast includes Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim, Jes Macallan, Jason George, Brett Tucker, and Erik Stocklin.
The series drew relatively small ratings over the summer months, averaging a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.8 million total viewers.
It looked like Mistresses would be cancelled but then, ABC extended the actresses’ contracts, an indication that they hadn’t made up their mind yet. The network’s summer shows did pretty poorly overall so they’ll have at least one returning show next summer.

I’ve been searching and searching when it was coming back on the air. I found no information at all. Not even (icky) Abc had NOTHING on their website.
Sure hope it comes back. Tell your friends and neighbors. More viewers might keep it on longer.
For me it is hard to like the ABC version after having watched the entire run on BBC America. I know what is going to happen as very little has changed in this remake. I do like the actresses and like seeing them on the screen again.

I think it should be cancelled. It makes women and young girls look like *****. This show is not what I would want my daughter to watch. This show along with Scandal, Betrayal, Revenge, and Mistresses show women and cheating lowlifes.
