ABC has renewed Mistresses for a second season. The TV series will return next summer.
Based on a British series of the same name, Mistresses revolves around a group of four women who are in complex and sometimes illicit relationships. The cast includes Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim, Jes Macallan, Jason George, Brett Tucker, and Erik Stocklin.
The series drew relatively small ratings over the summer months, averaging a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.8 million total viewers.
It looked like Mistresses would be cancelled but then, ABC extended the actresses’ contracts, an indication that they hadn’t made up their mind yet. The network’s summer shows did pretty poorly overall so they’ll have at least one returning show next summer.

Don’t cancel Mistresses. It’s a hot show. I agree that perhaps you should air in the winter months to get more viewers, but please don’t take it off. It left us with an awesome cliff hanger. I have to know what happens.
Don’t take the show away. We’re just getting to know the characters. Besides that you made this a summer show when many people are outside and not interested in watching tv. Put it on in the winter months and the ratings will skyrocket!!
Yes…so glad the show is coming back!! Such a great summer show and thankful the network is giving it a chance!! It is simply one of those addicting guilty pleasure kind of shows!!! YEA!!!

I LOVE THIS SHOW. It kept me at the edge of my seat every week. I can’t wait for the show to return to see what happens next……..

I love the sh0w. Give it a chance!!! There are a lot of other show on TV that SHOULD be cancelled, but this one was really good, held your interest, etc.
I love the show. Please keep it on. Give it a chance. Too many summer activitives to do to get started watching a new show. Something that good should be started in the fall.
