ABC has renewed Mistresses for a second season. The TV series will return next summer.
Based on a British series of the same name, Mistresses revolves around a group of four women who are in complex and sometimes illicit relationships. The cast includes Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim, Jes Macallan, Jason George, Brett Tucker, and Erik Stocklin.
The series drew relatively small ratings over the summer months, averaging a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.8 million total viewers.
It looked like Mistresses would be cancelled but then, ABC extended the actresses’ contracts, an indication that they hadn’t made up their mind yet. The network’s summer shows did pretty poorly overall so they’ll have at least one returning show next summer.

DON’T TAKE THIS SHOW AWAY! If you are going to end it, then make the second season a tear jerker or a cliff hanger. Give us all something to think about!

I love the series too! Alysa Milano has been one of my fav actresses since she was on who’s the boss! All the other actors are awesome and the writing and directing are superb!!

Just love the show. Story line keeps one intrigued and the casting of the characters just perfect for their roles. Would live to see it renewed and what else is in store

please keep this series going. everytime a series begins and people really get interested in them, they cancel them. If this keeps happening I will never watch another series again.

TUESDAY NIGHTS AND MISTRESSES CAN’T COME SOON ENOUGH IN OUR HOUSE. WE HAVE LOVED THE SHOW FROM THE BEGINNING, BUT THE FINALE REALLY LEFT US WANTING MORE. MISTRESSES HAS EVERYTHING, GREAT WRITING AND STORY LINE, WONDERFUL ACTING AND LOTS OF SUSPENSE, AS WELL AS MANY TWISTS AND TURNS. WE CAN’T BELIEVE THE SHOW HAS DRAWN A LOW SUMMER RATING SINCE IT IS ONE OF THE BEST ON TV. WE ARE SO GLAD TO HEAR IT HAS BEEN RENEWED, BUT WAITING FOR NEXT SEASON TO COME AROUND WON’T BE EASY!
Please keep this show on!! It is so well written with great intricate storyline’s and the director and actresses do an awesome job of portraying them. I now I’m out side your age 19-48 demographic but my age group, a little over 60, spends money and we identify with the characters on the show!!! So please keep us in mind before you make up your mind
