I HATE HATE HATE did i say HATE this bull@#*# rating system. It does not incorporate EVERYONE, i am not involved in it, and it does not take into account DVR’S. I am soooooo sick and tired of this crap and the powers that be using it in deciding to cancel a show or not. I DVR EVERYTHING !!!! THE ONLY THING I WATCH LIVE IS FOOTBALL AND THE NEWS because i hate commericials. Out of every hour of programming, commercials take up 14-18 minutes. Cable and daytime typically have more than network primetime.
Ratings are actually used to gauge how many people watch a show’s commercials since that’s the way that the networks make money to make the programs. Without commercials, you wouldn’t have the shows that you love.
