BBC Two is mixing family and politics. Deadline reports the network has ordered a new series called MotherFatherSon.
The political thriller comes from London Spy creator Tom Rob Smith.
The eight-part drama “examines how even the mightiest of empires can be imperiled when it turns on itself.” Smith is executive producing alongside Hilary Salmon for BBC Studios and Stephen Wright for BBC Two. MotherFatherSon is slated to debut in 2018.
