“I will not stand for this!” At the Vulture Festival this past weekend, Fozzie finally found out that ABC cancelled his TV show The Muppets, reports ToughPigs.
Earlier this month, we reported that the network had cancelled the comedy series after only one season. The half-hour show featured all the Muppets—Kermit, Fozzie, Miss Piggy, etc.—working on the fictional talk show Up Late with Miss Piggy.
During the Muppets panel at Vulture Festival, the moderator asked Fozzie what his plans were now. The bear, not knowing the show had been cancelled, said he was busy working. Then, Kermit dumped the bad news, which poor Fozzie didn’t take well.
Watch his reaction below:
What do you think? Did you watch The Muppets on ABC? Do you think it should’ve been renewed?
What will they replace it with, another “reality” show? I hope Comedy Channel picks it up. Fozzie was on @ Midnight and he was great.
Loved it! Why don’t the networks give great shows more of a chance???
Because it was pretty damn terrible and tried to hard to be edgy and like The Office and lost it’s heart.
