Last night’s schedule was dominated by the last Presidential debate of the year but NBC aired a special one-hour episode of The Voice before it began. Here’s the network’s spin on their ratings:

* Currently in fast-affiliate results, which are subject to revision, “The Voice” is averaging a 4.2/11 in 18-49 and 12.0 million viewers overall, pending updates, making it the #1 entertainment telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and other key demographics in a competitive time period versus ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” Fox’s deciding game of the National League Championship Series and CBS’s “encores of “Big Bang Theory” and “2 Broke Girls.”
* Pending updates, from its first half-hour to its second, “The Voice” grew by 21 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 4.6 from a 3.8) and by 16 percent or 1.7 million persons in total viewers (12.8 million vs. 11.1 million).
* Pending updates, “The Voice” is currently topping Fox’s baseball from 8-9 p.m. ET by a 56 percent margin in 18-49 rating (with a 4.2 vs. a 2.7 from 8-9 p.m.), ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” by 75 percent (4.2 vs. 2.4) and CBS’s comedy encores by 100 percent (4.2 vs. 2.1).
