What’s next for One Mississippi? Recently, creator and star Tig Notaro spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the future of the Amazon TV show.
Based on the life of Notaro, the comedy-drama follows Tig as she moves back to her childhood hometown to deal with the death of her mother and her own struggling health. The cast also includes John Rothman, Noah Harpster, and Stephanie Allynne.
In the interview, Notaro revealed that she hopes Amazon renews One Mississippi for a third season:
Yes, I would love to have more seasons. Since we’re only doing six episodes at a time, there is just so many more to do that it feels infinitely possible. But I also am aware that the business of Hollywood can make decisions and take sharp left turns, and I’m also OK with that. But my choice would be to do more.”
As of reported, Prime Video has not announced a renewal or cancellation for One Mississippi. Season two debuted on September 8th

I absolutely love the magnificently complex characters who are faced with recognizing the realities of today, everyone’s right to love whomever they love without the toxicity of prejudicial judgement, and the courage to be authentic! Written with a wonderful blend of intelligence, portrayal of current political ad cultural landscapes, and humor ! Season 3 is a must!!

I recently saw Tig on the Ellen show so looked the show up on Amazon Prime. I’ve watched Season 1 & 2 and hope you will continue with season 3. How do we find out if it continues and when it will begin?
