Despite ratings that would see it cancelled on a broadcast network, the freshman outing of the Outcast TV show did pretty well for a Cinemax TV series. A Cinemax horror drama from Robert Kirkman, season two of Outcast stars Patrick Fugit, Philip Glenister, Wrenn Schmidt, David Denman, Reg E. Cathey, Kate Lyn Sheil, Julia Crockett, and Brent Spiner. The supernatural series centers on Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit), who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now an adult, Kyle is determined to find answers, while protecting his hometown, and everything and everyone he holds dear.

For comparisons: The first season of Outcast on Cinemax averaged a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic and a total audience of 174,000 viewers.

I love Outcast, and if Cinemax cancels the series, I’m canceling Cinemax.
Sadly because of the death of Reg E. Cathy (Chief Giles) and the fact that Phillip Glenister (Rev) is starring in another series it probably wont have a season 3.

I just got showtime but I have been seeing previews for Outcast and I finally got to watch a few episodes of Season 2. I absolutely love this show! I haven’t been able to watch Season 1 but regardless I fell in love with this tv series &I have only been watching it today. Please please don’t cancel this show it’s awesome! Plus I would hate to see it end now, without seeing what goes on from Kyle leaving his wife and daughter to stay back. Or wondering how much more powerful Amber is.
