TV show description:
This crime drama follows a presumed dead former-CIA agent named John Reese (Jim Caviezel) who teams up with a mysterious billionaire, Mr. Finch (Michael Emerson), who’s also believed to be dead. Their goal is to prevent violent crimes by using technology and their own brand of vigilante justice.
Finch is a software genius who has invented a program that uses pattern recognition to identify people who are about to be involved in violent crimes — either the victim or the perpetrator. It was originally built for the government to prevent another 9/11 disaster but found that it was predicting less catastrophic, “irrelevant” crimes. Finch built a “backdoor” into the machine so that, before erasing the “irrelevant” data each night, Finch is sent the social security number of a person about to be involved in a serious crime.
Finch recruits Reese because of his special training in covert operations. Using their combined skills, resources and advanced surveillance technology, they work outside of the law to identify “persons of interest” and stop crimes before they occur.
Reese’s actions draw the attention of the NYPD — including homicide detectives Carter (Taraji P. Henson) and Fusco (Kevin Chapman). The latter is a corrupt cop and Reese blackmails him into being a source of information inside the department.
With infinite crimes to investigate, Reese and Finch find that locating the right person, with the right information, at the right time, can change everything.
Episode #103 — Return 0
Finch, Reese, Fusco and Shaw embark on one last mission to prevent Samaritan from destroying The Machine and cementing its hold over mankind.
First aired: June 21, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Person of Interest TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a sixth season?

I find it funny how CBS can cancel this brilliant series but happily replace it with crap like undercover boss, or whatever it’s called!
Although I felt it did get carried away with the addition of “Samiritan? It was still a great show and should not be cancelled
I think it is a good show and there should be a season 6!
I’m with Cindy, very interesting show. Sorry to say we have no say in the matter. Sucks.
Much better show than 90% of the GARBAGE which remains! These TV big-shot execs are brain damaged fools: they cancel the good shows and keep the crap! I don’t watch CBS anyways – total garbage.
I love the show. great acting good stories.
This is one of the top five shows and CBS is cancelling it.
What are you thinking!!?? This is one of the best shows on telivision!! Why are you doing this!!?? AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are very few well written and directed shows on TV these days
the actors are fantastic! Person’s of Interest always keeps you wanting more .
to bad it’s life has been cut short !!!!!
This is one of the best shows on TV. Great writing and talented actors. Please rethink your decision.
It is just waay better than many rubbish new shows that have been released.
Criminal Minds has achieved its 12th series, and is seriously brilliant.
I’m shock that such a fantastic show with so much range, and witty banter could be cancelled.
I wish I hadn’t bought tge dvds, if I had known you intended to drop it.
I only hope another network takes it over!
We loved the plot and the actors and would love to see Mrs Shaw come back, we hate to see it end
We love the show, why are they ending the show, we hate to see it gone.
I think it’s unfortunate that “Person of Interest” has been cancelled. It is extremely well written, acted, etc. Since the first episode of the final season has been aired and the narrator is Root I think we can pretty well figure out how this series will end.
I was reading an article that indicated that “Person of Interest” was being cancelled not due to the ratings but due to the fact that CBS doesn’t own the show and therefore receives no royalties from syndication.
This is one of the best shows on TV. Why are they cancelling it?
CBS….please don’t cancel!! Read all these comments, we love this show! Love the actors and characters. Keep it on!
