Would you let a stranger see your phone? Deadline reports a new TV show called Phone Swap will premiere on FOX-owned TV stations this summer.
The syndicated series asks “three pairs of contestants agree to go on a blind date, but what they don’t know is that their phones will be commandeered and dissected by the other. The audience witnesses the fear, anxiety, squeamishness and excitement as the contestants get unrestricted access to each other’s phones.”
Phone Swap will air on FOX-owned TV stations across the U.S. this summer. The series is currently airing its second season on Snapchat.
From FOX Television Stations EVP of Development Stephen Brown:
Dating formats have been absent from the syndicated lineup for a number of years. Phone Swap, with its creative, fun twist, is a program that we think will resonate with our viewers and re-ignite the genre.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of dating shows? Will you watch Phone Swap.
