The Deep End is an awesome show, and i can’t wait to watch the second season! please don’t cancel the show, especially since the characters have grown so much. 🙂
My wife and I really enjoy this show. We would hope that ABC gives this show time to blossom. The characters are fantastic and have a great deal of storyline opportunities built into them.
Please, please, please, please, please do not cancel The Deep End so early in the game. The season was absolutely wonderful. It was heartfelt, funny, fresh, fantastic, and tremendously entertaining. We love being exposed to the drama of the cases and the lawyers’ personal lives and well as the quick wit humor that is brought to every situation. It is a show people can sit down and enjoy without worrying about all the other problems they may have at this economically stressful time. Everyone loves a good escape from reality and this show is definately the best way to get that done. Please reconsider disappointing many abc watchers. Please keep airing. Thank you.
I am an incredibly huge and dedicated fan of this television show. The writing is superb and the witty, charming characters (of course including Billy Zane) bring all the viewers back the next week. I respectfully ask that you think of all the admiring and devoted fans of this show and bring The Deep End back to us because it is the most entertaining new show of the season. Thank you so much.
Please do not give up on this show just yet. It has so much potential and people are spreading the word about it everyday! Please give the huge and numerous fans another season and you may be surprised at the wonderful results!
I am signing in support of this petition not to end your beautiful, wonderful show The Deep End; the Deep End is unlike any other show on TV today; it reminds me of other TV greats The Incredible Hulk, Eight is Enough, and The Bionic Woman (with Lindsay Wagner). The Deep End is a Television Miracle with tremendous heart and soul. It is cute, genuine and sincere, and pays homage to viewers like me who do not appreciate and/or are less enthused about the fact that 95% of TV today is slapstick and/or reality TV driven. By contrast, the Deep End takes a chance and lets viewers become invested, right down to our very souls, as we can finally trust that we are not going to be made fun of (or watch every subject discussed being made fun of) and that it is not wrong or politically incorrect to be a sweet person, or, a good person, or to want to do the right thing. Simply put, this show is a rare find, a gem, and contrary to popular belief, it is not unrealistic: it simply makes a choice to stay on target and be hopeful; the actors are steller; the writing terrific, and there hasn’t been a show like it in decades. I read that seven million people have been watching weekly; that seems like something worth keeping, to have seven million people in the same place at the same time really truly enjoying themselves, given a show that is filled with endless possibilities. And, I have no doubt, that depending on what method is used to yield numbers, seven million people is a conservative estimate. The Deep End earnestly pops; from the first minutes of the first show, I knew I was in for the long haul; this show is very different from anything else that is currently on TV, and that is precisely why it has to stay on the air; it is sentimental and terrific, and does not apologize for being so. The Deeply is a sorely needed (and sorely missed) contribution to the world of Television; please keep this utterly phenomenal show.
Please don’t cancel the show. I have actually watched all episodes from Season 1 and i am really loving this show!… It is really good… I know you know that…but have faith with the viewers, ratings will surely increase, people can’t ignore this kind of show.. It has everything on. it has a heart, so please, this is only show i wait for to watch every thursdays..
I hate when ABC cancels shows without giving them the full benefit of the doubt. It’s hard for a show to compete when it isn’t advertised! Please don’t cancel the show!
