The final inning of Pitch is upon us. Recently, FOX released information for the freshman series’ upcoming season finale.
The sports drama follows Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury), the first woman to play for a Major League Baseball team. The cast also includes Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo.
Earlier, cast member Mark-Paul Gosselaar said he thinks there will be a second season of the baseball drama. However, FOX has not ordered additional episodes of the series and ratings have been low, suggesting the upcoming season finale maybe a series finale.
The season one finale of Pitch airs on December 8th.

What do you think? Are you watching Pitch? Do you want a second season?
I absolutely LOVE this show. It is so not like everything else and that makes it refreshing.
I love this show. Don’t cancel!!!!!!!!
Sometimes there are series that are not blood violence sex and whatever. Pitch is one of them. It’s interesting with a very important agenda, gender equality.
Both of us, my wife and I, enjoy this series. We hope it stays
This show is the most amazing shown that me and my family have seen together live in a very long time. We look forward to every Thursday. I really hope that you bring this back first second and third and fourth and fifth season.
I love this show. I really hope it’s renewed. The characters are great, the story line is fantastic and I really want to see how the locker room is without Mike. I can watch this show with my daughter.
I love this show. I like the characters, the acting, and the plot lines. I do wish there was more baseball playing. But, you can’t have it all.
I love Pitch. In fact, I think I have become a little obsessed with the show. I really hope they renew this show because it really is one of the best shows on television right now.
It’s the first show in a long time that we sit down as a family and watch. Really hoping that they keep it going.
it needs to be cancelled. The ratings are awful and will continue to be awful. Could they bring it back next season for another 10-13 episodes? I guess they could. We’ll see what FOX says after the season is over.
Not surprised to see you here going on about ratings as usual.
the ratings are low for a very simple the reason – the NFL. From 8:30 on all the shows on Thursdays are hammered in the ratings by football. Fox knew that whenever they scheduled Pitch in the “sacrafical lamb” time slot.
I hope there’s a second season
I have really began to enjoy this show. Great idea showing that women are breaking ground in a male dominated sports. I hope Fox gives the show a 2nd season and room to grow story line.
It is the best new show this year. I love it.
Love the show bring it back!!!
It’s The best show on TV I sure hope there’s a second season . I need to put it on at a different time slot it’s up against too much
don’t cancel it I watch it give it time to find its corner of the market
