PlayStation Network has cut the cord on Powers. Variety reports the network has cancelled the series after two seasons.
Based on the comic book series by Brian Michael Bendis, the drama starred Sharlto Copley and Susan Heyward as detectives who investigate crimes involving superpowers. The cast also included Noah Taylor, Adam Godley, Eddie Izzard, and Michael Madsen.
Bendis confirmed the news on Twitter:

An other example of a new and awesome serie with a different appoach of a theme when know well that is crucified on the cross short term ratings view. Shame.
