Last spring, this ABC show fell in the ratings over the course of its first season. The network renewed Resurrection anyway. Was that a mistake? Will the ratings keep falling so that it’s cancelled? Or, will they rise so that it’ll be renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.
On Resurrection, a small town in Missouri is turned upside down when long-dead loved ones return after 30 years. The cast includes Omar Epps, Frances Fisher, Matt Craven, Devin Kelley, Mark Hildreth, Samaire Armstrong, Sam Hazeldine, Landon Gimenez, and Kurtwood Smith.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
11/9 update: Should ABC have cancelled this series instead?
Final season averages: 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.67 million total viewers.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
For comparisons: The first season of Resurrection averaged a 2.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.32 million viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Resurrection TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a third season?
This show should definitely be renewed! ABC needs to think before cancelling good shows.
Please keep the show, can’t wait to see where it goes next. Seems like a whole new generation of returned. Also, there is the tolerance ethical issue that will tug on the heartstrings of many minorities
Keep it!! Love The mystery!! Has more to be developed

Loved the finale, left the door open for a lot of possibilities !! Bring on season 3!!! Love this show!!!
The Ressurrection finale was definitely sub par. No where near what a finale should look like. Honestly I don’t care if I never watch that show again. I began to not care about the characters and realized I no longer liked the show. I hope that ABC cancels this show but renews Revenge. Revenge has a better plot, actors, and is much more dramatic
YES!!YES!!!YES!!! Please keep Resurrection!!! It’s the only show I watch and am dedicated too!
Great cliffhanger! It would be a terrible time to cancel this show. Think of all of the possibilities…
