TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?

Great show! Great acting!Great story line! Will there be a closer to the story. Also another chanel should pick it up. Show belongs on a cable station too good of a show to die.
NBC means Not Being Committed. I know they need advertisement to pay those bills. Hmm, sounds like a repeat of, let’s just say Bonanza, and then can we say Little House on the Prairie? Oh they may have been Westerns in their day but you, NBC, gave them a chance. Wow. I am shocked. Well no matter what we say, CORPORATE has made their mind up. So to this I say, ” thank you for a great science fiction show that rivaled “Star Trek”. Oh wait, wasn’t that an NBC show also? Hmm, you might want to think about this… Read more »
What Thom Said NBC NOT BEING COMMITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone needs to sign this.
This is my favorite show!!!! It’s intelligent, suspenseful, witty, unique, and has actors who can act! I’m dumbfounded to have heard the news. I can’t wrap my mind around it. I feel season 2 has held its own and then some; it’s gotten edgier, more intriguing and the plot has even more substance. The writing is superb and most of the time while watching it, I feel as if I’m watching a movie. If you cancel it, there’s really no point in watching NBC anymore.
Seriously? You’re cancelling Revolution? Here’s some advice NBC. You have 3 really great shows. Revolution, Grim, and The Blacklist. You’re killing one? Who is running the show over there? Trained monkeys? You cancel this show I’m done with NBC. That show got me to watching your station again. Lets think about this would I watch the voice or Revolution? Hmmm, another sorry ass singing show or a show that makes me pop some popcorn? Yeah here’s a thought, hire some people who actually enjoy tv instead of dumbed down people who get excited over shiny objects. Idiots I am done… Read more »
Not very happy. Sure hope syfy or some other intelligent network picks up Revolution. It is an excellent series. My whole family is ticked.
I will Never Watch other tv show from NBC!!! This show has great writing , directing and acting !! I’m tired of the intelligent shows being cut!!! Yes, it is a show that you need to watch every week. It is in depth and has intense character development! NBC is playing to the lowest common denominator. The show has switched time slots and is at a current time slot that spent work for the style of the show. Please consider keeping this show or let a cable channel pick it up. Every show is so dumbed down. Give those of… Read more »
Well, it’s no wonder NBC is in the sewer again. If they get a marginally decent show they make sure it doesn’t have a chance by moving it around so it can’t be found or just yanking it for 4 to 6 weeks. Like others have said, cut a reality show or two. First these guys trashed late night and now prime time. I see Hannibal (which isn’t that good) is renewed. I suppose the next trick is to dump Grimm. That would leave me with nothing to watch on NBC except the news.
Hannibal is boring. I love Harris and the other Hannibal shows but this one just drags on, can’t watch it without falling asleep. Revolution is like The Walking Dead and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The folks at NBC are making a very big mistake. I didn’t watch Rosemary’s Baby tonight and won’t watch anything on NBC except Revolution. Hate to give up Grimm, that’s a decent show but maybe I can catch it on Netflix or Hulu Plus.
Keep the show running.
They must be out of their mind to cancel “Revolution”. But i guess it’s not a big surprise. Just another number in a long list of stupid decisions. These people have no clue what they are doing.
Martin, they sure don’t know what they are doing. I quit watching Law and Order when Stabler left and I’m sure that was some stupid decision from these same people.
Don’t Cancel .. This is the only show on NBC that’s worth watching.
I love Revolution!!!! Please do not cancel!!
LOVE IT! why why do all the good shows get cancelled?
One of the best shows on TV I can not believe that it is being cancelled.
While they keep show shows like Mike and Molly
Revolution is a very good show on cable and I work for the company too.
keep “Revolution”, it’s a great show!
