TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?

Please don’t cancel I really love this show!!!!
As usual another show I like gets cancelled. Cancel Chicago PD or Chicago Fire. Or any reality show instead.
Love this show!!!! Can NOT believe they are cancelling!!!!
I can’t believe they canceled this show! It is one of my favorites! Please, please, someone else pick this show up so we can continue to watch!! I am so sick of the shows I like getting canceled and they replace with these dumb reality shows!
Please say it isn’t so! This is one of two shows we make sure we are in front of the TV for every week! Please so not cancel it! The actors are all terrific and the storyline is riveting. Please reconsider!!
that sucks. I loved this show.
well what do you think just like Alkartaz the get you hooked and then pull the plug. Guess what CBS will get more of my vote now. Too bad NBC you used to be the leader . Now not so much. If you have a change of heart please let there be a couple more season of a great mshow.
Another great show that has been canceled due to the networks inability to see what they have & all the viewers who tune in each week to see what is happening next. I’m so tired of actually finding something on TV that is worth watching; being taken off the air. Nice job NBC!
I will miss this great show. They should give it a good ending and resolve it. Let it end with the power coming back online. in the final moments of the show.
I don’t want it to end. It’s just getting going, reminds me of S. King The Stand. Nothing else on TV holds a candle to Revolution. Usually we watch reruns of Criminal minds and cops. Don’t like Law and Order SUV since NBC let Stabler go so don’t watch that but we do watch reruns with Stabler, Cops, did like Grimm but won’t watch that anymore because of the station it’s on also Chicago PD. Fall asleep watching Hannibal. It will all work out.
go ahead and cancel and you will lose another viewer. stupidity…
hope another network picks this show up …………….. really sucks when you start liking a program on television and they take it off the air and replace it with some crap show that wont even last a full season
This is a very poor decision! We never miss this show and neither do family members in other states. With so much junk o TV, this show had excellent acting and characters. I hope someone in the network reconsiders. This show is one we have recommended to many people, unlike lots of other really stupid and poorly acted other options. I will eliminate NBC from any consideration if this goes forward. I like one viewers suggestion that another network pick it up. Just crazy!!
Why why why. It has all the right stuff, drama, things going boom, not filled with a lot of needless sex. Great story line great actors, oh I for got it’s not bringing in millions for the network. Oh who cares about the viewers it’s all about money !!!
OH COME ON! This show is too good for NBC to trash. Who made this decision? Every single time I get invested in a show, it’s gone! I wish someone with a backbone would step in a save this great show. GREAT ACTING, GREAT WRITING, GREAT STORY LINE, GREAT CHARACTERS. This show has something your other shows don’t have and you want to just throw it away. I bet the meeting went like this, “The cop shows are doing well on our station and others. Lets keep the cop shows and dump Revolution. We need more dumb reality shows, we… Read more »
Seriously! Come on NBC, change your mind on this one! Revolution is a great show! My entire family watches! We can’t wait for the next episode to air! It is a interesting show that makes you think about what life would be like with out our luxuries, like electricity, running water and the grocery stores! The atorlines are well written and all the characters are so interesting! Please don’t cancel this show! It’s one of the few great ones on TV now! Thank you!
Revolution is my favorite show. I’m very upset they canceled it. I hope they put it on a different network.
Getting ready to watch the best show on TV. I hope a channel with a little bit of brains picks it up or even Netflix anybody besides the idiots at NBC.
