It looks like Rosewood is packing it in. Today, it was revealed that the TV show had been cancelled after two seasons.
The crime drama centers on Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr. (Morris Chestnut), a charismatic pathologist, who teams up with tough Miami homicide detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). The cast also includes Lorraine Toussaint, Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle, Domenick Lombardozzi, and Eddie Cibrian.
Despite an auspicious first season, Rosewood struggled in the ratings during season two. Overall, the sophomore season averaged a 0.66 in the 18-49 demo and 3.03 million viewers. For comparison. season one earned an average rating of 1.34 in the 18-49 demo and 4.79 million viewers. That’s a near 50% drop in the ratings. It seems fans of the FOX series didn’t stick around for season two.

We loved this show!!! why do you cancelled some of the best and put crap shows on ….not family savy. shots fired,rosewood then you replace it with things that dont even make a full season. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

I’m so bummed to hear this news. I just finished watching what appears to be the last of Rosie & Villa. I guess we’ll have to make our own conclusion of how the series actually ended which makes me very sad. Come on…give us one final episode to watch R & V ride off into the sunset to L.A.

I’m very sad and very upset! I was so looking forward to Season 3 of Rosewood!!!! Rosewood had the perfect cast and the show was so down to earth. I love this show…please make a Season 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7!
