What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the E! cable channel, The Royals follows a fictional British royal family in modern day London. They inhabit a world of opulence that caters to their every desire, but one that also comes with a price tag of duty, destiny, and intense public scrutiny. The Royals TV show cast includes Elizabeth Hurley, William Moseley, Alexandra Park, Jake Maskall, Tom Austen, Genevieve Gaunt, Rocky Marshall, Victoria Ekanoye, Andrew Cooper, and Max Brown. Jules Knight is recurring and Damian Hurley guest stars in The Royals, season three.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of The Royals averaged a 0.23 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 533,000 viewers. Compared to the second season, season three is down by about 34% in the demo and sown by 26%in viewership.

Telly’s Take
The first season of The Royals had a good start as the cable channel’s first scripted series. However, in season two, the ratings fell by more than 33% when compared to the season one numbers. Now it has dropped even further, still on February 16th, E! renewed The Royals TV show for season four. The soapy drama is the cable channel’s first venture into scripted television so that likely plays a role in keeping the series on the air.

This show is so fun and entertaining, it would be a shame if it were canceled. I had never heard of The Royals until Elizabeth Hurley was on the Today show late last year. Then I binged a few episodes of season 1 and was hooked. Then I was sorely disappointed to discover there are only 10 episodes in a season. No wonder viewership is declining — how do you hang on to your audience with a show that airs for less than 3 months and then takes a 9 month hiatus? Season three has been the best season so far! All of the seasons are great!
The Royals is an excellent show. It’s well acted, well directed.
Great story line. It’s funny. It has a lot of drama. It would be a shame for all of those wonderful actors & all of us, the viewers to lose this show. Please keep it on the air.
Please keep The Royals on air. I love this show! Even being deployed for 6 months I made sure to record all the episodes from Season 3 so I could watch it. I’ve been sharing my recordings with friends and they fall in love after watching 1 episode and I catch them up with what has been happening. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

Yes please renew for season 4! Love this show. Only problem is E channel never shows it during the week. So if you miss at 10pm on Sunday night, you don’t get a chance to see it. Can’t expect ratings to go up if no one gets to see it because they never rerun episodes.
Keep the show on. I found out on 2/5/17 the show was not on. I was very sad. Please keep showings, I live it!
