The Scream TV show begins when an online video goes viral. It leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past. The cast includes Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus, John Karna, Amadeus Serafini, Conner Weil, Carlson Young, Jason Wiles, Tracy Middendorf, and Mike Vaughn (voice only).
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
7/29 update: MTV has renewed this series for a second season.
Final season averages: 0.34 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 750,000 total viewers.

This show most definitely needs to stick around for a while. The writers are doing such an amazing job at developing the characters story lines and each episode is packed with so much suspense. I think the reason that some of people aren’t giving this series a chance is because they are set on comparing it to the movie series… Well this isn’t the movie series its a TV series. People need to stop comparing and take this show for what it really is… a bloody masterpiece!!!
All the people who watched the original movies and say the show is crap is out of their minds. This show is a revival of the series which turned into a joke with scream 4. This has surprisingly exceeded my expectations. Each episode gets better and better

Scream should totally be renewed ! Right now the plot of the show is perfect and the writers are doing a great job ! I think the show works even better then the movies. And I actually think it is better then the movies ! If this show were to be cancelled I would be very disappointed in mtv. This show is honestly 100% the best show on mtv! I LOVE this scream series. Honesty I didn’t like the movie too much but the series is wayyyy better and should NOT be cancelled. It’s cool cause it has some OMG moments and it messed with your head. Come on guys lets give the scream series a chance. Good actors and actresses in the show. I love it.
I really like this show, its really interesting. i hope it doesnt get cancelled i really like it. I AGREE with some people saying that it should get 4 seasons since they had 4 movies. This could be as good as the movies. SO FAR, im on the edge of my seat watching it. Gets better every episode
Who had an idea to turn Scream into a series? Why? The movies were cheesy as f**k. Why would anybody be interested in this ****?
I think it is a bloody brilliant series and I think they should keep doing it two season 4 like scream movie if they stop it will be disappointment to people who love the scream ffilms so I say keep going with amazing show because i bloody love it best show I’veI ever see in my life 🙂 🙂 OMG the best show ever

You should make up to 4 season and make the 4 season the final then that would be great

I actually think this is a great show, so far. It would be even greater if they had some of the original cast (David Arquette, Courtney Cox, and others) to pop up for guest appearances!
