In the irony of ironies, FOX has not given Second Chance a second chance. Buzzfeed News reports the network has cancelled the drama after one season.
The freshman series starred Robert Kazinsky as a resurrected cop. Philip Baker Hall, Tim DeKay, Dilshad Vadsaria, and Adhir Kalyan also starred.
After going through several title changes, Second Chance didn’t seem to catch on with viewers. Season one ratings averaged a .64 in the 18-49 demo and a total of 2.430 million viewers.
Kazinsky confirmed the cancellation on his Twitter:

Second chance was a great series Otto shouldn’t of gone against his twin sister, and shouldn’t of been blown off the plane with the bad guy. He should of had a seat belt on and survived, and continued helping the others fight cime, the script writers, should put much more thought into the storyline. The bad people get killed out or go to jail, the good people survive.
Please do a second season it was a great show I’m so invested in it as are many other people , give it a second chance please
I dislike and am disappointed that wasn’t a 2nd season that show really caught my attention and I strongly think they should reconsider making another season.
I think their should be a season two please I loved the first season it was everything a movie should be
I don’t believe 2nd chance got a bad rating. Sounds fishy to me. The show was top notch, good acting, directing, characters, and plot. What more can you ask for.
I Loved the show 2nd Chance and while watching it . I was very disappointed to find out that only one season was all I would ever see of it . Very disappointing but then that’s Fox for ya . Never keep something good going . Sad really just reminds me of why I don’t want to watch fox anymore .
