There won’t be a third season for the Sirens comedy series on USA Network. The cable channel has cancelled the series after two seasons on the air.
Sirens follows the lives of EMT’s who work for the Eminent Ambulance Company in Chicago. They’re great at saving people’s lives but terrible at running their own. The cast includes Michael Mosley, Kevin Daniels, Kevin Bigley, Jessica McNamee, Bill Nunn, and Josh Segarra.
The show debuted in March of 2014 and the first season ended up averaging a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.13 million viewers. The second season dropped 23-34% in the ratings, averaging a 0.34 rating with 740,000 viewers.
According to Deadline, the low ratings played a big role in the decision to cancel the series, as did the fact that Sirens is not owned by USA.
The last episode of Sirens aired last week — on Tuesday, April 14th.
What do you think? Do you like the Sirens TV show? Do you think that it should have been cancelled or renewed for a third season? Would you watch it elsewhere?
I liled it and yes it have.coninued
I watched the first two seasons on Netflix and it would be good for it to go a few more seasons to end the story better
Noooo!!!! It was so good, and only getting better! I want 5 more seasons!
Bring it back!!!
Season 3!!!!!
season 3 yes,,,,,,
just binged watched this on netflix.really funny with great characters.i agree with everyone else ,it should be brought back.the execs at usa are out of touch with viewers or are driven by money( so whats new).
We love the show sirens ,,,, its funny as heck. why cancel all the funny shows? If the series was on a different network maybe the ratings wouldnt have been low. I didnt know about it until it popped up on Netflicks..
The only show on that makes me giggle. Please bring back my happiness!
Personally I enjoy sirens, I hope it gets picked upon another station, maybe with better promotion.more people would watch if they know when it comes on. Just saying. #bring back sirens!
Sirens writers and cast so deserves a third and fourth season. We are watching Sirens on Netflix, only because main stream TV- USA in particular, is annoying. With all of it’s ridiculous commercials. Commercials portray people as impudent, incontinent or unable to handle their finances. Then when a smart, funny and edgy show is developed, who do they think the audience is? The actors in their commercials? No- people who are smart, funny and edgy. What a shame! That’s why I have Netflix and Amazon.
I recently discovered sirens on Netflix and have to say that the USA network has let me down to the point that I will be dropping them as a viewing outlet for their poor decision making skills that allowed this show to be canceled. I’m sure regurgitating old shows that have been overplayed for years is more cost effective, but it also shows the networks complete lack of creativity and respect to their viewers. As such, their sponsors will no longer be reaching my household or my wallet. Shame on you USA(fox).
Some one else should pick up the show. I looked forward to watching every episode. It was truly a good funny show. Characters worked perfectly together.
Sorry to see it go.
Funniest show on TV
Are you kidding me! 2 of my favorite new found shows both canceled after only 2 seasons…. this is so upsetting sirens was posibly one of the funniest shows I’ve come across it was nice to have something to watch other than trashy reality shows ugh
