What’s This TV Show About?
A military combat drama airing on the History channel, the Six TV show stars Walton Goggins, Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan-Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Dominic Adams, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Jaylen Moore, Donny Boaz, and Nondumiso Tembe. The series centers on the members of Navy SEAL Team Six. When they uncover a U.S. citizen working with terrorists, their covert mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry. Two years later, Richard “Rip” Taggart (Goggins) has cut all ties to his teammates and his family and is a paid contractor in Nigeria. Once he is captured by terrorists, it is up to his SEAL brothers to put their differences aside to locate and rescue their former troop leader.

Telly’s Take
History doesn’t have many scripted series thus far and the first season of the Six TV show pales in comparison to the fourth season of Vikings. Still, it seems like it has been performing well enough. History renewed Six for season two, on February 23, 2017. Since renewals can be cancelled, I’ll still keep an eye on the ratings and update this page, if anything changes.
3/8/2018 update: History has announced season two of Six will premiere on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2018. Details here.

this is one of my favorite shows to watch the story is incredible and the guys are cute as well.

One of the very best shows on TV. Walter Groggins is the “best” since watching his great performances on “Justified”. Looking so forward to season 2!!
Expected to like it but not get sucked to the families and how the handled the unsettled lifestyle. Love that it’s at VB also. Can not wait for season 2. Someone have to find Rip… again.

We were devoted with the first episode.this is a favorite of both me and my hubby.we looked forward to Wednesday evening, after we put our little guy to bed this was a series we souly commited to every week.I will be so disappointed if this show gets cancelled.you can’t leave us hanging,RIP can’t just be left laying there, not after surviving the jungle.
