AMC is going to Texas. Recently, the network released new photos from their upcoming TV series The Son.
Based on the novel by Philipp Meyer, the historical drama traces the rise and fall of a wealthy Texas family. The cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Jacob Lofland, Henry Garrett, Shane Graham, Elizabeth Frances, and Nick Stevenson.
The Son is set to debut sometime in 2017.

Not a great fan of him, but I think Pierce Brosnan will be very good in this role, he certainly fits the part visually anyway. Not to sure about Jess Weixler though, looking far too much like “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” there in that last photo. Just kidding Jess! My little sister was an addict and I had to sit through years of it – every weekday afternoon!
