It looks like the remaining two episodes of Stalker will be the last for the CBS series. The network has cancelled the show after one season and 20 episodes.
A cop thriller, Stalker follows the work of the LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit, a team that investigates incidents of stalking. The TV show stars Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Mariana Klaveno.
The series got off to a moderate start on October 1st with a 2.0 rating and 9.07 million viewers. Stalker’s ratings dropped a bit in week two but then continued to dwindle downward over the course of the season.
CBS pulled it from Wednesday nights with three installments left in the season, replacing it with CSI: Cyber. It started looking clear that Stalker was destined to be axed.
After more than two months away, they aired one episode on April 27th. The remaining pair are slated for May 11th and May 18th.

Why are you cancelling The Stalker?? Finally, theres an ADULT drama…and u cancel it WHY WHY WHY????? That show was THE BEST!!!
I am in the UK. I watch the show every Monday. I’m basically waiting all week to watch it. CBS should not cancel the show, why end a really great show like that. Plus they haven’t even ended season 1. And if the last episode of season 1 ends on a cliffhanger, then I’m really gonna be upset. I hope another channel carries it to season 2.
Don’t cancel this show!!! Stalker is the best crime thriller on TV!!!
I think CBS is a failure, stop with the stupid reality shows and keep shows like Stalker. We know shows like Survivor are fake and I like that Stalker keeps me on the edge of the seat all the time.

Stalker very good programming and, writing,and acting, great characters. Loved the show, like csi cyber but not near as good as stalkers acting and story line. Cbs really missed the boat on this one. Please bring it back! !

Every body here in New Zealand LOVES this show its just like home and away everybody like did you see last nights episode i cant believe this happen. we get so excited for the next episode why do the great shows have to end im really disappointed but what cant we do…..
Greetings, As one who is intrigued by the works of others, one finds this a quite psychologically thrilling television series with potential. The depths of the emotional beings (humans in particular) are riddled and complex- filled with curious evoking tangents for science, individuals, and others. One finds the shows, such as CSI:cyber, Numb3rs, and criminal minds all exceptional, but they contain elements of either needless gore\ nudity or lack of behavioral understanding. IRT albert – Exactly – don’t know why CBS is canceling this show, as it is a great psychological thriller and keeps me on the edge of my seat every time I watch it from start to finish. Such a fail on this one.
Why would you cancel such a smart helpful show? I know it’s scary but also teaches! Why? Just a dumb thing to do but CBS does that a lot!
Man I am beyond disappointed that Stalker was pulled. BIG mistake. I read somewhere that Warner Bros is going to try and find another network to pick it up for a season 2. I hope so. If they do it will be a hit and CBS will regret ever pulling it.
I think this show is creepy, relevant, and really really great. The cast is excellent. Why are they canceling it when there is so much garbage on television that comes back over and over. I don’t get it. Please DON’T CANCEL!
One of the best shows on tv. Fresh and new. Nothing else like it in right now. I will be sad to see it off air
