The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

Was glued to this show since I started watching about a week ago!!! Please bring back season 2!! I even read the reviews about what future seasons would have brought. Amazing characters, awesome acting, the best visuals and realistic plot. It was my answer to a District 9 sequel!!! Please hear us!

I heard about this show when it first aired and wanted to give it a chance because i figured that it would somewhat fill the hole in my heart left by Roswell. Unfortunately, it was hard to catch on tv for me due to it airing on the nights I worked. I’ve been reading lots of comments regarding this show and it seems as if many people weren’t even aware the show existed. I am so upset that Star Cross will not return. It was so good! My husband and I loved it and we want more. We are in our 60’s so what does that say about your demographic? Return the show.
I just finished watching this show on Netflix. CW always cancels good shows. Instead they keep Pretty Little Liars, and you it will be 10yrs till we find out who “A” is on that show. This is a huge dissapointment by CW. If netflic doesnt make this show a Netflix Originial Series. Then Hulu should have this show. Because it is amazing! Everyone please call Netflix and Hulu both. We need to get people to contact these companies about this show so one of these companies can pick up this show and make more seasons.

Starcrossed is so freakin awesome!! I was so angry to hear that it cancelled, this show NEEDS to come back! From all the years I have watched tv..STARCROSSED IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN..it is very deserving for a season 2 <3 <3 <3
If you are going to cancel a show at least make a series finally. Second of all it shouldn’t of been cancelled in the first place, there wasn’t enough advertising done for this show. Just my opinion though, I was watching it on Netflix and found it extremely interesting and a really good plot that could have multiple seasons to it.
