The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

Dont think it shoul hve been cancelled, watching it on netflix now dissapointed that theres no season 2 . Get it back on.
Sooooo sad. Silly as may sound.. Shows like this takes us from the crazy things going on in our world. I think someone else should pick it up. I was so upset to hear this. Sorry many decent shows have been canceled.. Very reason why I don’t watch CW. Don’t know a good thing!

This is a well written show with great acting and mass appeal. Network executives are missing a gem here. Timing is everything. This is the right time for a show like Star-Crossed to shine. Bring back Star Crossed for at least a second season!

I loved season 1 of star crossed!! There needs to be a 2nd season, plz! You can’t just leave us hanging like that. The last episode was crazy and we want to know what happens next.

BIG mistake–13 episodes ==just getting started–hey network dummies–i’s a money maker–give it time. It has something for everyone;; interesting characters, great sets, terrificcostumes/makeup/hair and, oh ya–interesting plot lines. give it a chance to make you some fans ie: money.
