Last month, we reported Star Trek film star Anton Yelchin had passed away in a car accident. Recently, his Star Trek co-star Zachary Quinto paid the late actor tribute on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Digital Spy reports.
Yelchin starred alongside Quinto as USS Enterprise navigator Pavel Chekov in Star Trek, Star Trek: Into Darkness, and the upcoming movie Star Trek: Beyond.
When asked about Yelchin’s death, Quinto said he was “a beautiful, beautiful guy” and the loss has “has been absolutely devastating” for the whole Star Trek film cast and crew. He added:
It’s a terrible loss not only to us personally, but I think to the industry and audiences. He was such a talent.”
