Switched at Birth creator and showrunner Lizzy Weiss announced on Twitter that the long-awaited fifth and final season of her Switched at Birth TV show will premiere in January 2017. An exact premiere date has not yet been determined. Per Weiss, Freeform will announce the date as it gets closer. Freeform renewed the show for a shortened season five, leaving Switched at Birth effectively cancelled.
Switched at Birth stars Vanessa Marano as Bay Kennish and Katie Leclerc as Daphne Vasquez. The series begins when the then almost 16 year old girls find out they were switched at birth. The Switched at Birth cast also includes: Constance Marie, D.W. Moffett, Lea Thompson, Lucas Grabeel, Sean Berdy, Ryan Lane, and Marlee Matlin.

I can’t believe they are canceling there is so much going on this season it at least needed another season!
It’s crazy they are canceling this shows. It’s so awesome and relateable to the things these girls are going through. Please keep it on. We haven’t seen anymore about Toby and Lily’s baby. What about Emment and bay is that goi g to rekindle.
I absolutely love this show, its so addictive. I started watching it and then my 6 year old watched several episodes with me and now he wants to learn sign language. I wish the won’t cancel. I think we need to see more of Bae and Emmett.

They should make a season 6 I love this show n yea the season 6 who include when carolton Toby and Lily’s son is a toddler and Toby and Lilly get married.

Yes This best show on ABC family and on TV. It is a a very uplifting show. If i was rich i put my money into the show just keep on more years.It deserve to stay on. Thank you for taken your time making a great show.
