This TV show has been described as a mini-series but an executive producer of the Taboo TV show has plans for a second season. Will Taboo be a hit in the ratings for FX and BBC One? Will it be renewed for season two or will it be cancelled? Stay tuned.
Taboo is set in 1814 and revolves around an adventurer who returns to England. James Keziah Delaney (Tom Hardy) returns to London after spending 10 years in Africa. He finds that his father has died. Now, he’s set to inherit what is left of his father’s shipping empire — much to the consternation of his half‐sister Zilpha (Oona Chaplin), her husband Thorne Geary (Jefferson Hall), and the chair of the mighty East India Company, Sir Stuart Strange (Jonathan Pryce). Michael Kelly is also part of the main FX cast. The recurring cast includes Jessie Buckley, Jefferson Hall, Scroobius Pip, Edward Hogg, Leo Bill, Christopher Fairbank, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, Richard Dixon, Jason Watkins, Nicholas Woodeson, Franka Potente, and Danny Ligairi.

Addicted to this fine show . The detailed costumes , African voodoo , ghosts , elaborat sets , superb acting , tight writing all combine to make for such a rewarding show .

I am completely hooked and sincerely hope there is more to come. The characters have been developed to the point of needing reconciliation and Tom Hardy is phenomenal. Please bring it back for more!
Tom Hardy is terrific as is the entire cast! They were superbly typecasted & coupled with the realistic sets I feel as though I’m transported back in time each week. I have become attached to the characters & I’m not ready to say goodbye! Please return for several more seasons!
I love the show! You cannot keep your eyes off Tom Hardy. Mesmerizing and strange the show is unique and after the season finale I would love to see what happens in their future!
I like the show very much. Would hate to see it cancelled. The actors do a terrific betraying real world acts of power and greed.
Yes, this deserves all three seasons as it took the first 4-5 episodes to develop. I think people initially expected more “voodoo” (I personally would welcome more) so it was a little slow or disappointing through the first 4, like “when is the magic powers going to come into play?” I look forward to finishing the story, all three seasons please. And while you’re at it, how about a few more seasons of Peaky??? Please!

You must RENEW this!!! It is the best series on TV since Vikings!!! Tom Hardy is incredible and the story has so many interesting twists and turns i can hardly wait from week to week!!! If you want to raise ratings, pick another night!!!
