There’s good news for fans of The Killing. The TV show was cancelled by AMC earlier this year but it looks like season three is actually happening.
Though there’s been no official word of a pickup, Variety is reporting that showrunner Veene Sud and executive producers Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin are back in the writers’ room, working on the storyline for season three. The deal is still being worked out but apparently things look very good season three is expected to debut in May.
Earlier this month, we reported that Netflix and AMC were working on a deal to resurrect The Killing for a third season — in a similar way that DirecTV and NBC worked together to keep Friday Night Lights alive.
What do you think? Are you looking forward to a third season of The Killing? Would you prefer to watch it on Netflix streaming or on AMC?
Looking forward for the killing coming back. Was so disappointed when I thought it wasn’t coming back. So glad it is coming back.
Hell yeah!
Awesome news…great show!!!
I don’t care who airs it as long as it’s on. Best news ever.
