You know that old line about “Please, don’t shoot the messenger”? Well, The CW has done just that. The network has cancelled The Messengers after one season. Only three episodes have aired thus far.
On The Messengers TV show, a mysterious object plummets to Earth and explodes in a blinding flash. It sends out a shock wave that instantly connects five strangers. They receive extraordinary gifts, from inexplicable strength to the ability to heal others. The cast includes Shantel VanSanten, Jon Fletcher, Sofia Black-D’Elia, J. D. Pardo, Joel Courtney, Anna Diop, and Diogo Morgado.
The move to cancel the series doesn’t come as much of a surprise. The Messengers has performed quite poorly so far, even for a Friday night show. Last week’s installment hit a new low with just 650,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
For now, it looks like the series will stay on the air to finish out its run of 13 total episodes.

listen and listen here carefully this tv show was the best show i watch . it was freaking awesome and had me in suspense .and mind blown with the plot twists in it i’m literally crying that you cancelled the show .WHAT HAPPENED TO AMY AND MICHAEL WHAT ABOUT THE MAN HIMSELF AND THE PERSON WHO’S SUPPOSED TO DIED .YOU LEFT US HANGING WITH A FREAKING 6 YEAR FACE UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep it on please loved the show was on the edge of my seat cannot wait for season two please keep it just because a certain few don’t tune into it don’t let the people who loved watching it down love it love it loooovvvveeee it
I’m really sad that CW has decided to cancel the show I thought the show was amazing and left me at the edge of my seat. The Messengers was a very original show that I’ve never seen before, it shows a new demographic of the Christianity religion. I believe the show shouldn’t get canceled by they way it ended in the series. I absolutely loved this show! I am not very good with writting so I will just say …”extremely dsappointed” that The CW chose to cancel this show without really giving it a chance, and keep a competely awful show like Beauty& The Beast and dont get me started on Significant Mother.

such a stupidity to cancel the season our series 2 and saying it was a poorly tv our the it didnt have enough viiewers?that doesnt mean its not good means not everyone sees rv our has time ,i dont see tv more often but the messengers series was the only thing that made me enjoy tv again,hope it comes soon not fair sorry i am absolutly upset about this bad nedws and boredom night from now on thanks

WTH, it was the ONLY decent show on this summer. Figures the idiots would cancel it after getting us involved! Is it any wonder I watch so little television, sheesh
The TV show is perfect I can’t imagine they canceled it how stupid for the CW to do that after 3 episodes..they should have waited at least for the 13episodes to finish ,I really want it to come back hope the comments help to reason….season 2 the messengers..love u forever
“the messengers” should not be cancelled, it is the best series of 2015….i love “the messengers”. they should continue with the seasons, it is a must watch series of 2015. CW is crazy for cancelling the series. Again i love “the messengers”

great tv show, great character development, great acting from all the cast. the devil was cunning and decieving like we would expect.. its a shame that after 13 episodes finally V gets to meet her son and we find out amy is the antichrist.. another season would be have been great to develop antichrist and veras boys storyline.. hope sum1 pics up for season 2
I really dont like it when statistics are derived from just a few number of people then a decision this terrible is made. please either reconsider cancelling it or source other ptoduction channels. This was a great series
