The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I was watching this movie all night long then it came at to this..i can’t believe that this movie was cancelled..why are you all guys always cancel the awsome movie..please work for it CW. We all love this as you know..

I too can’t believe there won’t be a second season, after just watching the first season. I wish CBS or Netflix would bring it back for a second season. Just set it a few years after season one. Like Fox did with The X Files: Season Ten.
looking forward for season two
I honestly feel so mad at myself for not watching this on tv. This show is one of my favorites that CW has created. Right up there with supernatural and the flash. So sad it can’t be brought back.

I just watched the tomorrow people on Netflix I finished the whole 1 season in 1week so yall should air a season 2 because Netflix is popular many people use it to watch shows and the tomorrow people could be one of those shows it was for me. What is the whole point on airing a show that is just going to get canceled anyway, if you were going to cancel it then why bother airing it in the first place? You are just giving the fanbase high expectations and false hope and then leaving them unsatisfied, i thought the whole point on tv shows is for the publics entertainment you aren’t doing such a god job of that, canceling the show will just make you lose viewers and fans
The tomorrow people has got a very large fan base, canceling the show was the wrong call to make, it is an amazing show with a great story line and actors and there are other shows which aren’t half as good as this one that are still airing, this was a wrong choice and i think that the people behind the canceling of the show should reconsider their choices and actions, thank you.
