The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

This is about my 5th time watching season one and every time it gets better and better. This show has been one of the best shows I have ever seen and I watch a lot of tv. The characters come to life with the great actors and make me wish I had some sort of powers. I feel like I can really relate to the problems that Stephen and Astrid face while going to high school and coping with their “other” life. The tomorow people is the most interesting film have ever watched and I don’t see any good reason why they had to stop. And am pleading for u to bring it back even if it is not for anybody at least for me plssssssss
I just started to watch this show and couldn’t stop watching it ! And to find out no season 2 sucks ! This show was good ! It’s not cool to play shows that end with no true ending. Please make more seasons !
I just found this series on Netflix and watched it in 2 days. I really fell in love with this show and the characters. The producers started a whole new plot at the end of season 1 and I think they should finish what they started.

I really like this show. I hope there will be a season 2 because it really wouldn’t be fair to the viewers that actually like the show and want it to be continued if it didn’t continue. Clearly in season 1, there is more to the story so I would really appreciate if there could be a season 2 at least.

someone recommended this show to me back in 2013 i think, i was close to the end when the “no more seasons?” bomb dropped on me!! :(, 3 years later and i’m still devastated, hoping and pleading. pleaaaaseeeeeeee bring it back!! 🙁
I think that there really should be a second season (or more, please) for the show. This is honestly one of my favorite shows. My first two are The Flash and Arrow. I just really hope that CW will change their minds about cancelling the show.
I just found this series on Netflix about 2 weeks ago . Hearing that they never had a season 2 really made me upset . This is a great show , it atleast needs to have everyone come back for a last episode toto complete the edge we’ve all been hanging on !
