This singing competition has been a huge success in the ratings for NBC but nothing can last forever. Will the ratings fall in season seven — low enough to be in danger of being cancelled? Will they rise? A guaranteed renewal? TV is a crazy business.
Hosted by Carson Daly, The Voice typically airs twice a week — on Monday and Tuesday nights. Season seven coaches Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani join Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. This time, the team advisors include Stevie Nicks, Gavin Rossdale, Little Big Town, Alicia Keys, and Taylor Swift.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
Final season averages (Tuesdays): 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.51 million total viewers.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
For comparisons: The Tuesday editions of the Fall 2013 cycle averaged a 3.7 rating in the demo and 12.3 million viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like The Voice TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for another season?
The Voice is the best competition on TV. Only one we watch now. It’s still a hit for NBC — HAPPY THERE WILL BE ANOTHER SEASON!
“The Voice” is still a great show! My vote: keep it going.
