FOX is getting a new perspective. According to Deadline, the network is developing a new horror thriller called Through My Eyes.
The series comes from former Fringe showrunner Joel Wyman.
Based off a recent Russian drama, Through My Eyes shows a different character POV each episode as the series explores the “mysterious death of a school girl.” Deadline reports the original Russian series ran on TNT for one season and has been compared to Twin Peaks.
For the majority of the series, the actual actors wore a helmet-mounted camera, resulting in the show being one of Russia’s most expensive TV endeavors. Apparently, the FOX adaptation will implement the same POV filming technique.
What do you think? Have you seen the original Russian series? Would you be interested in seeing the FOX adaptation?
