Welcome to The Toy Box. ABC has released new information and photos from their upcoming TV series with Eric Stonestreet.
Hosted by the Modern Family star, the competition show pits toy inventors against a room full of kid judges, who will decide which toy wins a contract with Mattel and Toys “R” Us.
The Toy Box debuts on April 7th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

ABC’s “The Toy Box” announced the mentors and judges who will select the winning toy to be made by Mattel and sold exclusively at Toys “R” Us after the series finale. In each episode, inventors present their toy concepts to a group of mentors that include Dylan’s Candy Bar owner Dylan Lauren, toy guru Jim Silver and Pixar Creative Director of Consumer Products Jen Tan. If the toy maker gets past the mentors, they will move on to The Toy Box where a panel of young, no-holdsbarred judges that include Sophia Grace Brownlee (“The Ellen Degeneres Show”), Aalyrah Caldwell (“Uncle Buck”), Toby Grey (“The Unexpected John Cena Prank”) and Noah Ritter (“The Ellen Degeneres Show”) decide which toy moves on to the finals and eventually crowned the winner. The eight-episode series hosted by Eric Stonestreet (“Modern Family”) premieres on FRIDAY, APRIL 7 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network.”

My daughter Emma love’s this show and she doesn’t miss an episode, she wanted to be a judge in this show.
I hate that stupid Noah kid! Who is he in the first place? Who decided to put him on TV??
Noah ruined the shows for us! Watched 3 episodes, by the second show, we were trying to out race each other to hit MUTE when Noah spoke! Obnoxious to the extreme, he adds nothing to the show except our gratitude that we are NOT related to him. We won’t waste our time with this show any longer.
I think this show had an interesting premise, but the execution and format simply isn’t an accurate representation of how toys are selected. I find it rather boring because children simply don’t have the capacity to articulate opinions or critiques in a productive manner. None of the judges have actually MADE a toy (one is into candy, the other is in animation and the 3rd opines about the toys but is too mired in the past business model of mass market). The moderator or Somebody removed my comment..I think it was because I used the word “Horrible”…No profanity, just the word “Horrible” twice in the same paragraph..Next time Toy box is on, I’m going to spend my time trimming my toenails.
Watched the who twice, each time I found Noah to be annoying and too loud, sometimes rude. Don’t think I would watch it again.
Liked the show howerver, the child judge named Noah was constantly trying to grab the spotlight, trying to be clever and be the “Star”. The others gave very thoughtful, respectful comments. Stone street did a good job as moderator and attempted to redirect and control Noah’s unruly outbursts. It is a new show we will watch again and watch for improvements in Noah’s behavior. Good premise for a show…. A mini version of The Shark Tank”.
This show is ridiculous. I don’t see it lasting too long. I would pull the show immediately if I was running things.
did not like this show at all. found the kids super loud and obnoxious. liked the beginning with the experts. when switched to kids I lost it…too rude.

Sounds stupid, its ABC for ya, how about we cancel ABC instead.
Our family love Sophia Grace, my kids adore her, she is an ideal role model for my girls. We can’t wait to see her on the show.
