Here’s some Interesting Charmed trivia for fans of the Halliwell sisters.
Several of the actors on Charmed are veterans of other Aaron Spelling shows. Dorian Gregory (Officer Darryl Morris) appeared on Beverly Hills, 90210 which starred Shannon Doherty for several seasons. Alyssa Milano starred on Melrose Place.
In the original Charmed series pilot, Phoebe was played by actress Lori Rom who went on to recurring roles on Party of Five, Providence and Jack & Jill). Lori was replaced by Alyssa Milano and the Phoebe scenes were re-shot to include Alyssa.
In the first episode, there’s a newspaper that says, “Police Doubt Fire Was Accidental.” This paper was also used as a prop in the movie Mrs. Doubtfire. That movie starred Robin Williams and also took place in San Francisco. In the movie, Robin Williams’ character used the second and third word of the headline to invent the title character’s name.
Each of the Halliwell sisters died several times during the series. Prue died three times, Piper died nine times, Phoebe died seven times and Paige died six times. All returned to life with the exception of Prue when Shannon Doherty left the show.
Holly Marie Combs & Alyssa Milano are the only actors to appear in every episode of the series. If you count the unaired pilot, Holly Marie Combs alone holds that distinction. Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, Brian Krause (Leo) and Jennifer Rhodes (Grams) are the only actors to appear in every season of the series.
As predicted in the season three episode entitled “All Halliwell’s Eve,” the first name of Phoebe’s true love begins with a “C” — Coop (or was it truly Cole?).
The scene at the end of the next-to-last episode when the Manor is blown up was actually the last scene of the series ever shot.
The final shot of the series of the Manor doors closing is the same shot used in the season 4 episode “Witch Way Now?”. The reduced season eight budget prevented new scenes from being shot on location for the final season.
This show needs to come back now.

I can’t believe Charmed is over. I live in Australia. I watched it every week. I love to see Charmed come back one day. Maybe Billie can take over as a Charmed one. Maybe Christy can come back alive. Billie can give Christy a second chance. Need one more woman to add. So that Piper, Phoebe and Paige can take a break while Billie and Christy take over if they need ask Piper, Phoebe or Paige for help even now and then. What you think not bad, eh? or they found something in a family tree they are long lost… Read more »

I have been watching since the begining and would love to see it keep going, there were some un answered questions in the story line. but if the show would have kept going I think all would be answered like the rest of all thoughts. We are all in agreement the show needs to come back and end a long time from now but with a better ending.Come on it is only fair to see Phoebe and Paige pregant.Phoebe a charmed one and daddy cupid ,how many ways could we have fun with that.Paige half whitelighter and half witch.Henry normal human, could have one daddy a basket case.Come on a family all with a little magic or what and you are odd man out except for Grandpa. No we also want Billie back. You owe it to us and to Arron Spelling, whom we all loved and miss. So… Read more »
I must say, I was not only surprised but distressed when I found out “Charmed” was being cancelled. It’s truly sad. It is one of television’s recent magical icons (no pun intended) . . . by this, I mean that it is a show that touches people from all demographies, all ages. I turn it on every morning (re-run or not) as I get ready for work; it always manages to put me in a good mood as I leave home. I must say, I was saddened when Shannen Doherty left the show — she had something special about her… Read more »
I have been watching Charmed since it first started and i believe one of the biggest mistakes the network made was not bringing back Charmed. Not people many believe in good series but among all that was truly one of the best. I have even seen their shows more than once and i really would love it if Charmed can continue.
