The Mays sweeps period has begun so the networks had all original programs, including news shows focusing on the morning’s royal wedding.
Over on NBC, Friday Night Lights dropped 22% in the 18-49 demographic to a frightening 0.7 rating. Though the remaining FNL episodes are already paid for, with numbers like these, NBC may be very tempted to pull the series or, at the very least, send it to Saturdays.
The winners and losers of the night were over on The CW. Smallville gained 60% in the network’s target 18-34 female demo but lost 20% in the 18-49 demo. Supernatural jumped an amazing 83% in the young female demo and stayed flat in the young adult one.
