This one doesn’t come as a surprise (unless you’re Larry King). CBS has cancelled Vegas after one low rated season. Dennis Quaid and company won’t be back for season two.
The series finale, titled “Sons of Nevada,” airs tonight.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Vegas has been cancelled? Why do you think that more people didn’t watch?
So sorry Vegas was cancelled. There are so few shows worth watching any more. Who wants to watch all the reality shows – garbage. Very few shows for either seniors or young children. Even many news shows seem almost scripted.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the first season of Vegas. I looked forward every week to watching a new installment. Now, like so many other shows this Baby Boomer enjoyed, it has been cancelled. And what do I have to look forward to? Likely some other garbage reality show that I couldn’t care less about. I will continue to choose more and more new production shows on cable stations rather than what the three major networks air. My buying power in the community will be directed toward sponsors that want to target my demographic!
I was so hoping it would get renewed. Such a fun show to watch. Shame on you CBS!
What did CBS do hire some 22 year old out of college that watches those stupid shows with canned laughter to do the cancelling. Vegas and Person of Interest were 2 of the best shows going. I want to see it back next year. Let a person with brains do the cancelling. You advertise a lot of vehicles and pills on these shows ,who do you think buys them, not 25 year olds?
I am sorry to see Vegas go. Good acting, strong characters and stories that show how Vegas truly began, not just Godfather stuff. There is some sex, not like late night cable and not trashy like daytime soaps – which I don’t watch.
I think people have quite a few choices. Once you get caught in a few regualars it is hard to pick up something new when it begins before the others you like have ended for the season. I had thought I would pick up some as reruns.
Sorry that they could not see what an excellent series this was. We so enjoyed it.
I guess it will be more stupid comedies and realty shows.
Please won’t they reconsider and give it one more season????
Tragic and truly stupid of these major networks not take into consideration how many people use there DVR
Wow!! I just can not believe that CBS would Cancel a Super great show such as VEGAS with lots of action and surprises. It is almost similar to Pan Am back in 2011, which I also liked. Hey CBS, I am in that 18-49 group and I took time off to watch VEGAS and even see the episodes on the internet after Friday. Changing from Tuesday was near insanity, but I still watched all the episodes even when switched to Friday nights. Personally, The Ratings system is greatly flawed and does not represent the millions of viewers that watch through… Read more »
Best new show of the season.
CBS, you suck, Vegas was the best quality drama on TV, great scenery, fantastic cast, why oh why shelve it??
Great show, great cast. We hope that it will find a home on another network.
Vegas is what a show should be – entertaining, good acting; like Harry’s Law that NBC dropped. Hope it’s picked up elsewhere. The major networks are turning TV into a wasteland.
My wife and I love Las Vegas and really loved this show. It was just starting to get some good character and plot development and BOOM! It’s gone just like Vincent’s car!
WHY!! WHY!! WHY!! We look forward to this show, when you show it. You interrupted it, moved it and then you wonder why rating were low. Please give a second thought to this show. The acting was excellent and it was one of the best show out there.
Get smart CBS!!
I thought this was a very good show but now I’m glad I have something other than “network” TV because CBS is another net work I won’t watch any more. Just another
decision I won’t have to make about whatever is on CBS to watch. GOODBY CBS.
WHO IN THE HELL ARE THE “SUITS” THAT DECIDE THIS? Every time something comes on TV that gets me to sit down and watch TV some idiots take it off the air.
