CBS has released information about the next episode of Vegas, the first installment to air on Friday nights. Starring Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis, the TV show has been struggling on Tuesday nights and was very likely headed for cancellation.
Since the audience skews older, the network has decided to see how it will perform paired with Blue Bloods. This may end up being the show’s best chance of survival. Now we get to see if people will actually tune in on April 5th.
There are six new episodes left for Vegas to prove itself worthy of a second season.

What do you think? Will you be tuning in to watch Vegas on Friday nights? Should the series be renewed for a second season?
Cannot believe that “Vegas” was cancelled. I thought it might start back in January. Kept hoping. I am down to mostly reality shows now. A few good ones still on like “CSI”, “NCIS”, and “The Mentalist”, but fewer and fewer on the major networks. They are becoming the minor networks. Vegas was a show that I looked forward to each week.
Love the show the time period is great. Can’t wait for season 2,don’t cancel!!!!
It was cancelled in May 2013. Sorry!
this was a great show, great actors and acting , love vegas, old time vegas, with vegas history. so why cancel? you should have give it an honest chance. Rather then replacing it with shows like revenge, scandal, mistresses, beytral, is that what tv has come to cheating, lying, dead people eating people, horror. What is this teaching our children?
Yes ,I agree with Lois. My girlfriend and I love the show and always look forward to the next episode! To cancel would be a shame !!
My husband and I love this show! Sure hope it comes back. Great stories and acting.
