Compared to Unforgettable’s series debut a year earlier, CBS was down by 14% in the demo (vs a 2.9 rating) and down by 4% in viewers (vs 14.09 million). While the viewership is very impressive, the demo is less so and CBS has cancelled many series for low demo numbers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Vegas TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Vegas should be renewed! What a refreshing new TV show! I loved it and many others I know watched it and thought it was great! I would sure like to know how “The powers that be” figure out what shows are good. I am so sick of all these reality shows.
Come on CBS, wake up! Vegas is a GREAT show. Leave it on. God knows we don’t need another reality, music or dance show! BRING VEGAS BACK!
It’s a shame that people are so into reality tv shows that they can’t see Vegas is one of the great shows on tv CBS .should get there head out if there ass and start showing sitcoms and not stupid reality shows
Are you out of your minds???? Why do you people do stuff like this??? I do not care what the ratings say, and I do not think you really go by them, like Michal said, nobody called me or my friends that watch Vegas either, you are pulling it off the air for who knows what reason!!! This is idiotic!!! Vegas is a good show, good productions, good actors, good story lines, AWESOME reproduction of the era and you are taking it off the air. Of course you don’t give a freak about the people that ACTUALLY watches it and… Read more »
I cant believe they are canceling VEGAS !! This is one of the good ones. I am so sick of stations keeping those stupid reality shows and getting rid of a good show like this. I don’t know if there just isn’t any good writers out there anymore, but I don’t find reality shows entertaining. I guess I wont be watching any shows on CBS anymore, because they will just cancel it after I start getting interested in the story line!!!!
Cancelled? You’ve got to be kidding me! This was one of the few Great shows on the air!! (Dallas & Blue Bloods are the few others.). Great setting, Great story lines, Great actors, Great everything!! We are up to our eyeballs with stinking “reality” shows and STUPID comedies. (in my home, we don’t watch any of them anymore!!) People don’t go to the movies to watch stuff like that, so why don’t you keep good dramas like Vegas on the air so we can enjoy the “small screen”‘in our homes? Vegas was one of the only CBS programs we watched.… Read more »
U are so right
The show ought to run until Quaid and Chiklis have to do it from their wheelchairs. It one of the few good shows on TV.
CBS means Crazy Bull SH#! You Guys Suck
Vegas is one of the best shows on Television. I cant believe you are taken it off the Air. Here is one loyal follower you lost with many more to come. What a bunch of BS
I think it is time for the CBS executive in charge of cancelling good shows to listen to there viewer or be cancelled themselves
It is a shame to lose this show it is a winner that should have been given a second season
Vegas has good actors, good story line and is a great series. Will be very disappointed if the show is cancelled, as will several others over 40 where I live. Could write a whole article about the drivel we are expected to watch on TV, as if the whole nation eagerly awaits a new reality show, oh please, spare us.
Keep Vegas running.
please renew Vegas
C’mon man! I’m 53 what I don’t count I’m not in our demographic , CBS executives just slap yourselves and leave show on thanks
I really like Vegas and all my co-worker too. It would be sad if it were cancelled. there is not too much to watch but reality shows and I AM SO TRIED of them.
