Animal Planet is living the life. The Vet Life TV series premieres Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 9:00pm ET/PT. It was previously announced as Texas Vets.
Animal Planet says:
VETERINARIANS JUGGLE FAMILY, ANIMALS AND BUSINESS ON ANIMAL PLANET’S “THE VET LIFE” PREMIERING SATURDAY, JUNE 4 AT 9PM ET/PT
Equal parts laughter and drama, THE VET LIFE follows veterinarians, Dr. Diarra Blue, Dr. Aubrey Ross and Dr. Michael Lavigne, as they navigate the balancing act of running their newly-opened animal hospital while managing the everyday stress of raising their families alongside their wives. The series captures the doctors’ home life with their spouses, children, parents, in-laws, pets and large group of friends.
The three doctors developed a strong friendship while attending Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and reconvened in Las Vegas where they began their careers and honed their surgery skills. After years of paying their dues, they decided to fulfill their dreams of owning their own practice and set their sights on Dr. Ross’ hometown of Houston. In 2015, Cy-Fair Animal Hospital opened its doors to service the community and their pets.
The veterinarians are dedicated to providing the best care for their patients – both human and animal. Dr. Blue’s personality keeps them smiling and in good spirits while Dr. Ross keeps the clinic running during an often hectic work day. Dr. Lavigne is a skilled surgeon who provides balance. With a combined experience of over 22 years and a shared love of animals, Dr. Diarra Blue, Dr. Aubrey Ross and Dr. Michael Lavigne thrive to educate the public about the importance of preventative medicine in order to extend the longevity of the human animal bond.
What do you think? How do you like the sound of The Vet Life TV show? Do you think you’ll check out the series premiere?
This is the best show on Animal Planet series; please please renew it! These docs are wonderful (& their families!)
I love this show and hope there will be more episodes. If I had a serious problem with my animals even though it is a long way I would go to these guys.
I love this show, when is it coming back? The comedy between the three docs and families is hilarious. To be the ages they are they are very knowledgeable about animals….
I love the new shoe The Vet Life. I have seen every episode and wonder if the first season is over and when it will come back!
Love this show, the vets and their families. TiVo episodes so I won’t miss any. The personalities of these guys makes this show educational while being fun.
Love this show and the humor and compassion they show for their families and the animals and owners. Saturday is my favorite day to watch Animal Plant and the Vets. Please forgive the negative comments and let them find another channel to watch, while the rest of us enjoy your shows especially The Vet Life!
Love the show. Want more episodes.

I love this tv program. I like the veterinarians. I really hope this TV program doesn’t get canceled.
I quit watching after about 30 minutes into the first episode. Give me more of Brian the Kennel Tech, or I’ll literally cancel my entire cable subscription.
LOVE this show and all the families as well as animals!! Keep up the great work!!
Love this show..if they get cancelled I won’t be watching this channel anymore. Sorry, but I am tired of getting into a show only to be cancelled!
I really love this show. It is very informative. Drs. Ross, Levine, and Blue are excellent role models and are all family centered. I love the interaction of them with their loving wives and children. This type of show is so needed. I wish I knew about their practice here in Houston before I had to put my 2 year old Schnauzer down due to kidney failure. These doctors are extremely smart and knowledgeable. They are also very respected by the community. Dr. Blue’s facial expressions keep my family and I laughing, but don’t get it twisted, he is very… Read more »
Sorry, not a fan of this new vet show. My opinion is that Dr. Jeff from Denver is the most realistic without all the silliness. Much more educational and more common sense. And I think that Dr. Pol in Michigan is downright dangerous. I think the way he treats animals is appalling on many levels.
