666 Park Avenue: Last Episodes of Cancelled TV Show Dumped

666 park avenue canceledWhen ABC cancelled 666 Park Avenue, word was that the network was committed to airing all 13 episodes. Now, it looks like that may not happen after all.

666 Park Avenue was scheduled to return on January 6th with the first of four final episodes. ABC has now dropped the series from the schedule.

The Sundays at 10pm timeslot will be filled with episodes of Happy Endings and Don’t Trust B in Apartment 23 on January 6th, 13th, and 20th. (Both sitcoms have been performing terribly and could certainly use additional exposure.)

On January 27th, ABC will air Hallmark Hall of Fame’s original movie, The Makeover. It’s unclear what will air after that but the Academy Awards broadcast is slated for February 24th.

A spokesperson for ABC indicated that the remaining episodes of Park Avenue may air over the summer. Keep in mind that the network has had plans like this in the past with mixed results.

What do you think? Are you upset that ABC has dropped 666 Park Avenue? Do you think they’ll eventually air the remaining episodes?

I am also totally disappointed this show is cancelled. Its a great show, something different for a change. Maybe the 10 pm time slot on Sundays wasn’t the best air time? Sunday USED to be my favorite night for TV- not anymore……

It is bad enough you dropped 666, but at least you could have shown the final four episodes. Lame of you !!!!!!!

I loved this show! Very dissapointed. The shows put in its place are ok, but if you are watching 666 Park Avenue you are not looking for funny! There are plently of other funny shows that are better. I am not watch these two just because they took away the one I loved!

Can’t believe ABC cancelled this show. It was one of the best shows out there. Very disappointed in the network that they are not even going to finish it up. I do not understand this. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Where is your logic? Will not be watching ABC until something good is back on the network. And you fill 666’s slot with mindless garb! Epic fail on your part!

Bring back 666 Park Ave. Was a great show. Also really stupid for network to pull with only 4 episodes remaining . Completly feel left hanging after all mystery and susspence. Who wants to sit around till summer to see what happens. Bottom line finish what you started.

Ridiculous that they would cancel 666 Park Avenue. Even more ridiculous the two shows that they replaced it with. Two mindless shows. What a waste of time! Bring back 666 Park Avenue if the network is smart. I really don’t understand their thought process.
