Crossbones: Cancelled? NBC Series Shipped to Saturdays

Crossbones TV show on NBCNBC has decided that their low-rated Friday night drama, Crossbones, will now wrap with a pair of episodes on Saturday August 2nd. The installments had previously been set for Friday, August 1st and Friday, August 8th.

Though the network hasn’t said that Crossbones has been cancelled, the ratings have been terrible and it’s highly unlikely to return for a second season.

Please, please, do not cancel this show! It was the time slot, it needs to be moved to a better time slot. I recorded each show, does that not count for ratings?

My husband and I have been flipping through channels looking for the second season, finally we googled it to find out when it was beginning, we cannot believe that aTRULY GREAT series is being considered for cancellation. We LOVE this show!! Cancell some of the other crap like some of the reality shows to mention one. With the rising cost of watching TV anymore people should have a choice and a vote of what they want to see.

I agree with everyone. It’s a great series and not reality junk. I’m sick of seeing big butts and screaming, crying, useless men & women.

Finally, a show that is not about cops and robbers. A very authentic setting. A sense of realism that I really enjoyed. TV needs more shows LIKE this. I despise the new show line ups for this year. More junk TV. That’s why I watch older series on Netflix. Those older shows are still great. This series was the beginning of another great series. This show was kinda like a history lesson, and entertaining at the same time. Bring it back!

I really lived this show. The cast is amazing! A few years ago, a show called Cane was also cancelled. So was Dirty sexy money. Oh yes and then there was “V”. Excellent. But no they were all canceled! Instead let’s keep all these stupid mindless shows on TV. Like RWNJ. Or Kardashians and let’s not forget the dumb program that people meet each other totally nude. Crossbones is very entertaining. And I have always loved John Malkovich. It’s too bad these canceled programs could continue on another network for people like me and others who have nothing good to watch on television. What’s happening to our networks. Everything is going to crap!!! Really unfair!!!

I agree with the previous posts !! I was looking forward to seeing more of the show and somehow missed the move to Sat. for the end. At least give it a second season. The sets, costumes, and acting were all excellent and the story line kept my interest. I really prefer this to the talent shows, reality shows and the drawnout Dateline.

I love this show! Why cancel it? I don’t care what higher ups think, I’m the one watching it and I thought the viewers opinion mattered! It is a great show man every time a great series comes out it is cancelled but the CRAP shows are what we are stuck watching SERIOUSLY SICK OF REALITY SHOWS AND THE DAMN KARDASHIANBULLCRAP! BRING IT BACK!
