Hannibal TV show ratingsNBC’s previous Thursdays at 10pm drama, Do No Harm, was quickly cancelled. Will the network have better luck with Hannibal? We’ll see.

The cast also includes Laurence Fishburne, Caroline Dhavernas, Aaron Abrams, Hettienne Park, Scott Thompson, and Lara Jean Chorostecki. NBC has ordered 13 episodes.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

This show is great! The actors are exceptional in their portrayal of their characters, the overall casting is flawless, the story lines superb and the cinematography is wonderful. To cancel this show would be a mistake. Should this happen, I hope that HBO, Starz Cinema, or Showtime would pick it up. NBC, please keep this show on the air.

Love the show. I’m a big Criminal Minds and CSI fan, but here lately they are getting predictable. I needed a change and Hannibal has done it. The only thing negative I can say about the show is that it has failed to keep my husbands attention. He wanted more Hannibal much sooner. Oh well, his loss! Please RENEW!!!!!

Renew, for certain.
I may not be correct in saying that the fault is in advertising, but it feels as though publicity is unfortunately low. The show is very well crafted – and the scenes are beautiful, from an aesthetic sense, not just a writer’s perspective.
This show is based on a book. Because it is a series of episodes, it is far more detailed than a movie based on the same book. It is quite faithful to the characters. It is not for the squeamish: it is for the curious.

Huh? Is the series going to be cancelled..? Until now it feels like the beginning of a whole big interessting story with complexed characters. Like i’m just diving into it. It was and is brilliant from the start! Has to stay obviously…
