NEW YORK – October 7, 2010 – Haven, Syfy’s original series from leading independent producer Entertainment One (eOne), has been renewed for season two. The 13-episode season will commence production on location in Nova Scotia in Spring 2011 with an eye towards a Summer 2011 premiere.

Haven, starring Emily Rose, is based on The Colorado Kid from renowned author Stephen King. I think that the story line and the characters are will written and acted……….it’s a little sci-fi, but that’s why people like it and it has a good story line, and the characters should be expanded, espically Duke, and the coroner’s daughter, and the mystery behind the FBI agent. It had a good season finale.

This is a really great program! Interesting characters,
    awsome storylines, EVERYTHING that is
needed to produce a show well worth watching!
I am SO HAPPY there is going to be a season 2!
I can’t wait to see what twists and turns are in store!

I too loved the show; and my husband, who is the furthest thing from a sci-fi fan, is on board, as well. We are both excited that it will be returning for a second season, though I had to do some digging to discover this fact. While it was running, I couldn’t believe there wasn’t any buzz about it! It’s a rare show that causes me to stay up late to watch.

I finally went on the computer to see what has happened to “Haven”. I never know when the next shows are going to come on or not. The seasons aren’t like they used to be. You always knew when the next season was going to be on.
I really like this show, not knowing what will be happening the next week and the story that will unfold.
I’m so glad it’s coming back, and I’m first of the baby boomers. I’m 64, soon to be 65 and I love these type of programs. I love syfy. The T.V. executives keep taking of the really good shows and fill them with a bunch of garbage. Those sit-comes that get rauncher and rauncher.
