TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Please don’t cancel Longmire!! This is one of the few great shows left to watch!
Longmire is a gripping, entertaining show with characters that we care about,
and invest our time in! We always anxiously looked forward to the next episode!
Please listen to the faithful viewers!!!
I loved this show. Don’t end it with us hanging!!!!! Keep it going.
My husband and I have watched Longmire the first time it was on t.v. and wonder why they take just a great program off the air. Please Renew this program…..
My wife & I loved watching Longmire & she’s been asking me to look for it so we can continue watching it but A & E hasn’t had it on that I’ve seen. Please don’t cancel this show.
Love the show. Enjoy everything about it.
Please don’t cancel Longmire, my husband and I love this show!
Please pick up this show
. Beautiful country. Great acting. It’s nice to see L.DPhillips!!! Robert Taylor is wonderful. I love watching a show that tells a story. Are we a dieing bread? With all the stupidity on tv why would they cancel this smart mature show.
This show is first class entertainment all the way. Great stories performed flawlessly. Please don’t stop.
With all the voyeuristic and juvenile shows on television today, it’s nice to have a more mature choice. The storylines engage your attention and you can invest in the characters. I really hope that someone picks it up. Too bad A&E can’t see the value of the show.
Well written and acted. Set in beautiful country. But, I guess it appeals more to an older demographic and we all know that is not the target audience. I would be far happier watching Longmire than Bob’s Burgers, or the Simpson’s or any of the puppy crap that seems to rule today.
Longmire is a great show. It should be revived, and not end after this season !!! It could easily be a no. 1 show, like Bonanza or Gunsmoke. It’s one of the best series on tv. My husband and I can’t wait from one week to the next to be able to sit down together to see what happens next. Plus it’s a clean family show! Not many of these left on tv or cable/satellite !!! We record it to watch again after the season is over. Please keep it going!!!
Good show. Keep it rolling. I want to see the development of the storyline.
Why would they cancel a show that the whole family can watch with realistic themes. They leave some of the crazy shows on for specific targeted audiences, again Hollywood gone amuck. Where has common sense gone? Please return this program!
Keep it going, advertise better and reduce amount of interrupt ions. All the excessive advertising is driving everyone away. Its a great show!!!
Longmire is not only entertaining but refreshingly so. Not your typical cop show, more down to earth and easy to follow. Do not cancel Longmire, big mistake.
