Great show every scene a story in itself; acting, writing, photography, excellent. It is equal to the very few best dramas on tv, such as Boardwalk Empire, and Homeland. It amazes me and my wife that a show this good does not attract a greater audience. Does the distribution of Starz limit the audience? Whatever please continue this riveting series.

Great show. If this great show was on another night and had a real opportunity to be viewed by a larger sample of people, a following would occur. Don’t cancel, add a little more mob conflict and pick up the pace in the show to give scenes the life it deserves. Great show !

Great show! Suspensful plot, good story line, amazing set, terrific actors…what else could one ask for in a series? Hubby and I dont watch much TV, but make it a point to watch this program each & every Friday. We HOPE very much it does not get cancelled. This show needs better advertising to draw more of an audience. “If you build it…they will come!” Here’s to a season three!

Magic City is by no means a brilliant series. I find the writing to be very uneven and not up to that of some great series like Mad Men and The Newsroom. The plot line is really not very creative and much of it is really quite derivative. Glazer is just not an major league writer as much as his resume purports. Making it a family affair by giving his wife, daughter and other show biz friends roles in the series is a nice gesture, but doesn’t necessarily translate to great talent. Honestly, Danny Huston steals the series with his portrayal of “the butcher,” and that’s why I continue to watch. I will give Glazer props for set design, photography, and capturing dead-on the style and culture of South Florida during that time. But unless he amps up the writing (I wish he would get some real help with this) I’m afraid this series will soon be sleeping with the fish.

Like everyone else here I too love this show and would be sad if it is canceled. The plot is terrific and just keeps reeling you in. I am however disgusted by the pornography displayed in the last episode. It is without a doubt pornography and while some viewers may be so impervious to this because of the coarsening of our culture, I don’t want to watch pornography on a nice afternoon when I am able to sit and enjoy this show like I would a good book. Especially since this extent of graphic display was so unnecessary and very offensive. If the ratings are low cannot you so brilliant tv exec’s do something that requires intelligence to fix this rather than restoring to the lowest and I mean lowest Neanderthal level?

to me the thought of cancelling this brillant show show not even be considered.the problem is the channel its on.most people dont have startz .the powers that be need to do a better job of promoting their shows.there is no doubt the ratings would be much higher if more people knew about magic city.when startz cancelled another great show;boss;i considered dropping them.but then i remembered megic city.make no mistake;this show is the only reason i keep startz.they dump this and i am done with them.now i understand shows dont last forever but cmon;16 shows are not enough to justify the end.i also know magic city has a very loyal audience.i wont be the only one saying good-bye if magic city is not back next year.

Love this show!! It’s a shame Starz did not do a better job advertising it. I hope we get a 3rd season. Elena Satine and Olga Kurylenko have been complete surprises and hope to see more of them on screen!

Like many others, I find it very frustrating that good shows, such as Magic City, get cancelled while lousy ones get renewed. Wake up TV execs. People want quality programming.
