It was an okay start for Ashley Judd and company. Former occupant Wipeout had been attracting a 1.5 in the demo and it’s of course important to remember that the debut was opposite American Idol. In the fall, Charlie’s Angels also debuted in the 8pm timeslot with a 2.1 in the demo and was cancelled not too long afterward because the numbers dwindled downward. Will the same happen to Missing? Stay tuned.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Missing TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

I am very sad that Missing has been cancelled. What a terrible way to leave us hanging. Great show with great acting. And so do we get another “reality” show to take its place.
What a shame! ABC will start losing a lot of followers with this kind of decisions.

Love the show’s surprises every week. Never dull. It is one of only a few shows we watch without fail. Bad time slot against Big Bang Theory so network is foolish with scheduling.

WOW – I am sooo sad that this show was cancelled. It was great and I really looked forward to it each week. Ashley Judd and the entire cast were simply amazing. It never disappointed me and kept me on the edge of my seat. I am so sick of “reality” TV and unfunny comedies. Bring us something with substance – PLEASE

We LOVE this show. All of the actors are so good in it. The suspense and intrigue of each episode keeps you wanting more. Since the first episode, we (family) have been looking forward to the next one. We had been watching American Idol, but when we saw the previews for “Missing”, and then watched the first episode, we were hooked!!! We no longer watch American Idol. The “Missing” characters are so well played, that we looked forward to the next one every week. The heck with reality shows, there are tooooo many, and this show just keeps you going from week to week. Please don’t cancel this show. I do believe there would be more viewers if the show was on at a different time, it is a great show, PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a fantastic show – I loved the constant movement and twists and turns – too many shows have too much drama and there are way too many reality shows which most are quite frankly boring and highly overrated. I love shows that keep you on the edge of your seat and waiting for the next episode. Ashley Judd is a great actress for parts like these.
Cancelling “Missing” would be a big mistake on ABC’s part. This is literally the only show that I’ve watched on ABC for years with any regularity. Usually this network is a “last resort” when I’m bored with the reruns on the other networks, and given shows like The Bachelor/Bachelorette – I find watching paint dry more interesting!

PLEASE, PLEASE, do not canel this show. Since the first episode, I was caught. loved the intrigue, suspense, the fact that she portrayed both a mother and ex-cia, and had to return to that dark place that we all have within ourselves, yet she still maintained her selfworth. Bring it back. cancelling this show will be another of your worst mistakes
